Remove Recycled Records

Net•Yield will reuse or recycle records in many databases rather than delete in order to speed up data entry on transactions. On rare occasions, the number of recycled records become too large and need to be removed.

WARNING: Before you rebuild indexes, it is advised that you call Net•Yield Support for advice.

To run the Remove Recycled Records utility, all users must be logged out of Net•Yield, see Concurrent Users for more information on how to determine is all uses are logged out of Net•Yield and how to clear users from Net•Yield.

After selecting the removed recycled records option a message will appear: “Remove recycled records? No/Yes."

• Select no to return to the System menu.
• Select yes to remove all recycled records. When all recycled records have been removed, the system will return to the System menu.

If you select yes the following message will display: "Removing Recycled Records, XX% complete, Please wait” to indicate that recycled records are being removed and the files re-indexed accordingly.
